Appeal after aggravated burglary, Bradninch

Police are seeking information following an aggravated burglary at a Bradninch home where two men carrying batons demanded cash.

The men, who were wearing balaclavas, entered the property in Fore Street and threatened the occupant with the batons. They demanded money from the safe before kicking the victim and escaping with a quantity of cash.

The victim – a man in his 20s, was not injured.

Police are investigating the incident which took place between 4.30pm and 5pm on Friday 13 January and seeking the two suspects.

One is described as white and 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a grey hoody with black writing and a circle on the front, black jogging bottoms with white writing on the left hip.

The second man was white, around 5ft 11ins tall and of large build. He was wearing a dark blue hoody and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the men or anything suspicious at the time in and around the Fore Street and Peters Street areas of the town.
