Appeal to trace missing Hinckley man

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Hinckley man – and are appealing for public help to find him.

Christopher Morris, 36, was last seen on the A47 Braunstone Crossroads at around 4.15pm yesterday (Monday 15 October).

Christopher, who is from Hinckley, is between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall and of a slim build. He has a shaved head and has the initials “CJM” tattooed on his neck.

When he was last seen, he was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a polo shirt with the word “Cat” on the sleeve, a blue sleeveless hoody and blue trainers. He has Celtic band tattoos on both arms.

Sergeant Joe Gunduz, of Leicestershire Police, said: “Searches are currently ongoing to try and locate Christopher as we’re becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“I’d ask anyone who thinks they have seen him, or who knows of his whereabouts, to contact police as soon as possible.”

Anyone who has seen Christopher should call 101, quoting incident 640 of 15 October.
