Appeal to trace missing West Bromwich schoolgirl

Police are appealing for information to help trace a school girl who has been missing from her West Bromwich home since yesterday (30 January).

Shahrin Ahmed, was last seen leaving Queen Mary’s High School in Walsall at around 3.45pm on Monday (30 January).

The 12-year-old is described as Asian, 4ft 9ins tall, slim build, with long black waist length hair. She was last seen wearing a pair of black glasses, a green jumper, a light green shirt, black shoes and carrying a black Nike bag.

Shahrin has never been missing before and this is totally out of character for her. Police are now urging anyone who may know of her whereabouts, to come forward.

Anyone with information can call West Midlands Police on 101 or the Missing People charity on 116 000.
