Four men have been arrested in connection with a number of distraction burglaries in Beaumont Leys.
The men, aged 41, 25, 23 and 18, were all arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in police custody.
Inspector Rob Randell, the NPA commander for Beaumont Leys, said: “We are pleased with these arrests and investigation is ongoing.
“We want to urge people to be cautious of people who are coming to their door unannounced, and to always ask for identification – if they are visiting from a legitimate company, they won’t mind showing their ID.”
