Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information following an assault in Exmouth.
Officers were called at around 1am on Tuesday 20 March to reports of an altercation involving two men at an address on Beacon Hill. It was also reported that a bladed object was used during the incident.
A 36-year-old man sustained injuries to his back, arms and legs which are not being treated as life-threatening or changing.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
The men involved are known to each other.
