Officers investigating an assault which left one of the victims with serious head injuries have released CCTV footage of the events leading up to the assault in a bid to identify the person responsible.
The incident took place in Granby Street, Leicester around 2.20am on Sunday 26 July when two men, in their early twenties were assaulted, resulting in one needing hospital treatment for injuries to his head and mouth.
Despite appeals issued previously we are still trying to trace people who may have been in the area at the time and also any information about the person responsible.
Did you see what happened? Do you know who is responsible? The two victims were standing with two or three women, who it is believed witnessed the assault.
