Officers investigating the death of a man in New Parks want to hear from anyone who visited his address in the past few weeks.
Peter West, 60, was found deceased in a property in Glazebrook Road yesterday (Tuesday 20 June). His death is being treated as suspicious and enquiries are continuing to ascertain the exact circumstances.
Detectives want to hear from anyone who had cause to visit Peter’s address in the past few weeks. Did you see him there? Did you see him in the street? Did you go to his address to visit friends or acquaintances?
Detective Inspector Michelle Keen, the senior investigating officer said: “It’s important we build up a complete picture of the weeks prior to Peter’s death and are keen to hear from anyone who may have come into contact with him or visited the house, where he lived.
“We are in the process of carrying out house to house enquiries and speaking to neighbours to establish who may have visited the property in the last few weeks. We would still ask anyone who may have visited the address during this time to contact us.
A 35-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man who were originally arrested on suspicion of preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body, have since been re-arrested on suspicion of manslaughter. They are remain in police custody.
