Officers satisfied Little Stoke report not suspicious

We’ve now identified and spoken to the van driver who talked to a 12-year-old girl in Little Stoke on Wednesday and are satisfied no offences have occurred. The girls’ mother has been updated. We took the report seriously and are grateful for the public’s support in sharing and responding to our appeal. Neighbourhood officers continue to carry out reassurance patrols in the area.

Ten more people charged with riot

We’ve charged 10 more people with riot in connection with the violence which broke out in Bristol city centre on 21 March. Two of those charged have also been charged with arson while a third also faces a charge of outraging public decency. Man comes forward after appeal over incident on 48 bus – Bristol

A man has come forward following our appeal after a teenage girl reported being inappropriately touched on a bus. It happened between 10.30am and 11.30am on Saturday 1 May on the number 48 bus. The bus was travelling out of Bristol along Fishponds Road when the man sitting beside the 17-year-old girl started to touch her. A man has been interviewed by police and the investigation continues.
