Concern for missing Leicester man - Mark Edwards

Police are concerned for the welfare of a Leicester man who has been reported missing.

Mark Edwards, 37, who was currently living in Hillsborough Close, Glen Parva, was reported missing by his family on Friday 30 June after he failed to return home.

He was last seen by a family friend at 3.30pm the same day walking towards Blaby.

Mark is 6ft 1ins tall, of slim build, with short light brown hair and stubble on his face. He was last seen wearing a black Nike hooded top, dark blue jeans and black Nike Airmax trainers. He was carrying a black rucksack.

PC 4165 Andrew Morley is carrying out enquiries into Mark’s disappearance. He said: “We and Mark’s family are concerned for his welfare. He’s never been missing before and this is extremely out of character.

“If you have seen Mark since last Friday (30 June) or you recognise his photograph and believe you may know where he is please get in touch.”
