Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Kingstanding have charged a 15-year-old boy with murder.
The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Saturday (8 July) following a fight at an address in Twickenham Road at around 12.56pm that resulted in the death of a 23-year-old man.
The 15-year-old − who is from Kingstanding, is set to appear at Birmingham Youth court this morning (10 July).
Two men, aged 20 and 24, that were also arrested in connection with the enquiry have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Jim Munro said: “Our investigations continue and I’d urge anyone who witnessed the stabbing, or has information they think could help the enquiry, to get in touch if they have not yet spoken to the police.”
