The driver of a vehicle involved in a serious collision on the M1 in September last year has since died in hospital.
The 57-year-old man was driving his silver Toyota Landcruiser along the northbound carriageway of the M1, in the parish of Cosby, Leicestershire, when he was involved in a collision with a blue VW Polo.
The collision occurred just after 3pm on Saturday 17 September, he was taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire with serious injuries and subsequently died in hospital at the weekend (Saturday 7 January).
A passenger in the Toyota and the three occupants in the VW Polo were not injured.
Enquiries into the collision have been ongoing since September last year but if you recall witnessing the incident, which took place between junction 20 and 21, and haven’t yet spoken to the police please come forward.
