Jewellery stolen in city burglary

Around £20,000 of jewellery was stolen during a burglary in St Ives Road.

The incident happened between 2.30pm and 9.50pm on Sunday, December 21. The victims returned home to find access had been gained to their property and a substantial amount of their jewellery had been taken.

DC 2920 Nigel Baraclough, who is investigating the incident said: “Anyone who has been offered Asian gold jewellery for sale in suspicious circumstances is asked to contact the police. Likewise, if you think you may have information about this incident, please get in touch.”
