London Road re-opened after serious collision

London Road city-bound has been re-opened following a serious collision this morning (Friday 26 June).

A pedestrian has been seriously injured after he was involved in a collision with a bus on University Road at the junction with London Road at 8.40am.

London Road city-bound from the junction of Granville Road was closed to allow us to carry out enquiries at the scene, it has since been re-opened.

The pedestrian has been taken to University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire by air ambulance, his condition has been described as critical.
