The appeal has been shared hundreds of times across social media and in the local news, and since its release West Midlands Police received plenty of information.

Smith of Marlborough Gardens, Malvern has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates court tomorrow morning (3 June).

Thank you to everyone who has shared, liked and commented on the appeal and those who have got in contact to tell officers what they know.

Police are still appealing to trace a second man and anyone with information about his identity, or about the incident in general is urged to contact DC Tom Lyons on [email protected]
