A 25-year-old man has been charged with firearms offences following a gun being fired at an address in Gibson Road, Sileby, in the early hours of Sunday 2 July.
Sean Fitzgerald, of Castledine Street, Quorn, appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today (Friday) and has been remanded into custody.
Fitzgerald has been charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, criminal damage, driving while disqualified, section 4 driving while unfit through drugs and possession of Class B drugs.
Four other people were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. Two men aged 19 and 26, and two women aged 21 and 25 have been released under investigation.
A 26-year-old man was injured in the incident and remains in hospital. Enquiries are being made into how he sustained his injuries.
