Detectives investigating a serious assault in the city centre are urging anyone who can help with their enquiries to come forward.
A 22-year-old man was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary after he was found at an address in London Road with a serious injury to his arm.
The report was received just after midnight on Saturday (16 March). The property was cordoned off while further enquiries were conducted over the weekend but that has since been lifted.
From enquiries conducted so far it’s believed the victim was assaulted and stabbed in the arm. He remains in hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries locally and looking at any possible CCTV footage from the area.
