Re-appeal and E-fit released following incident, Star Road, Penperlleni

Officers are reappealing for information and releasing this e-fit following an incident that occurred last Thursday afternoon, 8th January, on Star Road, Penperlleni.

At approximately 12.55pm a 36 year old woman was walking along the road pushing her child in a buggy when she was approached by a small blue vehicle near to the Chainbridge Pub. The man driving the vehicle asked her to get in. When she refused he became verbally aggressive and drove off. The woman and child were unharmed.

The man (see e-fit) was described as being Asian, approximately 35 years old, of small to medium build. He had dark coloured eyes and eyebrows and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black zipped up jacket and a beanie hat.

The car was a navy blue, 5 door hatchback.

Just after the incident three vehicles are reported to have come from the direction the man drove off in. Officers are appealing for these people to come forward. One of the vehicles was white with a female driver and another was a JCB with a male driver.

Theft of dog - Abertillery

Gwent Police is appealing for information following the theft of a dog from locked kennels in Six Bells, Abertillery.

The 21 month old brindle coloured Lurcher, called Bailey, was stolen on 6th January from the top of Upper Arail Street.

He’s not chipped, anyone with any information is asked to call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 156 07/01/15 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
