Police appeal after 14-year-old mugged in Castle Vale

Police have launched an investigation after a teenager was dragged into wasteland and mugged in Castle Vale.

The 14-year-old boy was walking along the Chester Road near to the M6 motorway bridge at around 2.30pm on 3 July when he was approached by two people and dragged into nearby wasteland.

He was punched and kicked a number of times before his bag containing a small amount of cash and a bank card was stolen. His phone was also damaged.

Officers have trawled CCTV and have now released images of two individuals they want to identify as part of the investigation.
