Police appeal to finding missing Smethwick girl

Police are growing increasingly concerned for missing Adeela Ahmed from Smethwick.

The 14-year-old, who is originally from Telford, was last seen in Soho Way in Smethwick on Monday (3 July), just after 9pm.

At the time of her disappearance, Adeela was wearing a black floral shirt, black/grey washed out jeans and grey running shoes. It is possible she may also have been wearing a grey fleece on top.

She is described as having a slim build, 5ft 4ins tall and has straight long black hair.

Officers have reason to believe that Adeela, who speaks with a Birmingham accent, may place herself at risk and are concerned for her welfare.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Padmore, from the Locate team, said: “We need help from the public to find Adeela as soon as possible. If you’ve seen her, please let us know as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the Locate team on 101 ext 872 3050. Alternatively, people can leave information by contacting the Missing People charity on 116 000.
