Police appeal to trace missing teen from Birmingham

Police are appealing for information to help trace a teenager who has gone missing from Birmingham.

Ethan Marsden, 17, was staying at an address in Erdington and was reported missing after failing to return from the shops.

Officers have been searching the area and are now appealing to anyone with information of his whereabouts to contact them.

He is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, clean shaven with short brown hair and has the letter E tattooed on his right hand.

It’s thought he could be heading North.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded top, white t-shirt and grey joggers.

Inspector Mark Watkins, from Birmingham North Police, said: “We urgently need to trace Ethan and would urge anyone who has seen him to contact us.

“I would also appeal to Ethan to call us or come into a local police station so we can make sure that he is safe and well.”

Anyone who sees Ethan are urged to call 101. Alternatively information can also be passed to the Missing People charity on 116 000.
