Police are appealing for information following reports of a high value burglary in Plymouth.
The incident was reported to have taken place at a property on Larkham Lane, Plympton on Thursday 26 September between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
It was reported to police that entry had been forced to the property and following a search of the address, a significant amount of high value jewellery had been taken.
The items include:
– An 18ct gold Movado pocket watch
– A silver parrot broach, with red coloured beak and eyes
– A silver children’s dummy with silver chain
– A gold pendant with dragon image on the front
– A gold pendant with rabbit image on the front
– 12 watches in a brown leather box
– 2 Oris watches
– 4 Seiko watches
– Two parachute regiment cap badges
Further to the above were to two medals, which had been given to the victim. These are inscribed with the words ‘Sgt Mitchell RAOC’ and each includes a bar which reads, respectively, ‘N.IRAQ’ and ‘S.TURKER’.
Investigating officer DC Jason Rowe, said: “A significant amount of jewellery and valuable items were taken from this property during this incident back in September.
“The victim, a man in his 50s, was informed by his family that a number of items had been taken from the address.
“These items range from watches and earrings, to medals and gold sovereign coins and are of sentimental value to the victim.
“I’m keen to hear from anyone with any information about the incident and anyone who may have seen any of the items mentioned for sale.”
