CCTV images which show missing Leicester girl moments before she boarded a coach to leave the city have been released by police.
Victoria Halliday (19) from Broughton Astley, was last seen at around 10am on Tuesday 23 June on Leicester Road, near to the roundabout with Groby Road, and was reported missing by a family member at 10.45pm that day.
Sergeant James Cross, from the Missing from Home Team, said: “The CCTV image shows Victoria waiting to board a coach in Gravel Street, Leicester on Tuesday at 1.15pm and we know that she bought a ticket to Cardiff. The coach stopped at Birmingham en-route.
“We believe she arrived in Cardiff and are asking the public to take a look at the images and if you think you saw Victoria or have any information as to where she might be to get in touch.”
Victoria’s mum Laura has issued the following plea on behalf of her family: “We want to know that Vicky is safe and to tell her that we love her and the whole family including her brother are really worried about her. Please Vicky if you’re reading this please get in touch with us.”
She is described as white, 5’4”tall, very slim build, with short dark straight hair, wearing a grey T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Anyone who has seen a girl matching Victoria’s description or has any information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101.
