Police name man who died following collision in Newbold Verdon

A man who died after his mobility scooter was involved in a collision in Newbold Verdon, Leicestershire, has been named by police.

Harry Lee, 81, of Newbold Verdon, was injured in the collision which took place at 1.30pm on Saturday 6 August outside the Nisa Local shop, Main Street.

He was airlifted to the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire where he subsequently died.

There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
