Robbery in King Richards Road

Were you in King Richards Road, Leicester, around 11pm on Tuesday (30 May)?

We’re investigating a robbery where two teenagers were approached from behind by two men, they were threatened with a knife before a mobile phone was stolen.

The victims, a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, were also assaulted during the incident and sustained minor injuries.

The suspects made off on foot towards the city centre. They have both been described as black men. One of them was of slim build, around 6ft tall. He was wearing a dark grey tracksuit, believed a Nike or Adidas with black writing on the chest.

The second suspect was around 5ft 9ins tall. He was wearing a plain navy blue tracksuit with zip on top.

We know there were motorists in the area around 11pm, a family in a red Toyota stopped briefly at the scene and we’d like to trace them.
