Serious collision, A38 Landrake

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious multiple vehicle collision on the A38 near Landrake.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called at 11.15am today [Sunday 9 July] following the collision involving five vehicles.

Two people are seriously injured while a number of other people have also sustained injuries.

The collision has blocked the road and the A38 has been closed in both directions at Trerulefoot and Carkeel. Diversions are in place.

The road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours so police are asking motorists to avoid the area for the time being.
