Serious collision in Newquay

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Henver Road, Newquay.

Police were called at around 3.10pm on Thursday 26 January 2017 after reports of a collision between a van and 12-year-old boy from Newquay.

The boy was airlifted to Derriford Hospital with serious foot and head injuries. His injuries are described as serious but non-life-threatening/changing. The van driver was uninjured.

Police from the Serious Collision Investigation Team attended and are appealing for witnesses to this incident to contact them via [email protected] or by calling 101 quoting log number 0431 260117.
