Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision in Torquay.
Police were called at 12.30pm on Monday 18 July following reports of a two vehicle collision on Market Street.
Officers attended the scene, as well as ambulance and fire crews.
A man has been seriously injured and there are reports of a vehicle on fire.
Highways have been called to assist with road closures. Market Street is closed at Pembrook Road and Victoria Road to allow a forensic investigation of the scene to take place.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area as the road is expected to be closed for some time.
