Six charged over running Coventry drug network

Six men have been charged with running a cocaine and ecstasy supply network across Coventry following a series of West Midlands Police raids across the city yesterday (July 13).

The men – aged between 19- and 32-years-old – have all been charged with conspiracy to supply drugs and are set to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court later today.

They include brothers Samuel and Elijah Enenche-John, plus 28-year-old Dahiru Barka, who were all arrested from an address in Humber Avenue.

Other men suspected of peddling cocaine and ecstasy, primarily in the Foleshill area of Coventry, are Haroon Tasharat (32) from Dunbar Avenue, Mahmud Ali (23)from St Georges Road, and 23-year-old Saif Mohammed Iqbal from Ransom Road.

The arrests are part of West Midlands Police’s Operation Blue Steel which targets people suspected of involvement in organised crime in Coventry.
