Two men have been arrested this morning as part of an investigation into the shooting of man in Leeds.
The men, aged 21 and 60, were arrested on suspicion of firearms offences when armed officers conducted enquiries at an address in The Close, Richmond Hill, earlier today.
The operation was part of an ongoing investigation into an incident in Thorpe Road, Middleton, on Sunday, January 10, where a 31-year-old man received a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police investigating a series of charity box thefts from business premises in Bradford and Leeds would like to speak to Paul Capuvanno in connection with these matters.
Officers have made numerous enquiries to locate Mr Capuvanno, 50, who is of medium build and around 5ft 9ins tall.

Police investigating an incident where the front door of a house was set on fire in Knottingley are appealing for witnesses.

Detectives have made more arrests and are continuing to appeal for information regarding a shooting in Middleton in Leeds.
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team has renewed its appeal for witnesses as detectives continue to investigate an incident in which a man was shot in the leg in Thorpe Road in Middleton on Sunday, January 10.

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Saturday 10 October at The Works pub, Hollins Lane, Sowerby Bridge.
At around 8pm, a man aged in his 50s and 43 year-old woman were involved in an altercation outside The Works pub.
The incident was reported to the police and the officers have recorded an offence of racially aggravated assault.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the altercation to come forward.
