Teenager has bike stolen on Lutterworth Road

Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on Lutterworth Road, Leicester.

At about 8.30pm on Saturday 9 July, near to the junction of Gilmorton Avenue, a teenage boy, was chased by two men who pushed him to the pavement before stealing his bicycle.

One of the suspects threatened the victim with a knife, but no weapon was seen. The boy was not injured but was left understandably distressed by his ordeal.

A description of the suspects has been given. The first man is said to be white with a tanned complexion, 5ft 7ins tall, slim but muscular build, about 18-years-old, and clean-shaven apart from a very thin moustache. He was wearing a red jumper, a red and blue baseball cap with white lettering and had a blue Nike satchel with him.

The second man is described as black, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 10ins tall, about 19-years-old, medium build with short hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top with Nike written in white across the chest and matching grey bottoms.

The bicycle is a grey Carrera Vengeance mountain bike with red stripes.
