Third arrest in Benbow Rise, Braunstone, assault

A third man has been arrested after a 19-year-old was found injured in Braunstone.

The ambulance service found the victim in Benbow Rise in the early hours of Sunday morning (6 August).

He sustained a minor injury to his head and has since been discharged from hospital.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault earlier today. Two other men, aged 20 and 21, were also arrested on suspicion of assault earlier in the week.

All those arrested have since been released from custody under investigation.

Detective Sergeant Dave Speight, said: “Despite the arrests we would still like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it. If you can help with our enquiries please get in touch.”
