Third man convicted of the death of Coventry teen Lucy Commins in collision

A third man has been convicted of causing the death of a Coventry teen.

Ross Clark, from Sevenoaks in Kent, was found guilty at Warwickshire Crown Court yesterday (23 June) of causing death by careless driving and failing to provide a blood specimen after a crash on Ansty Road which killed 16-year-old Lucy Commins in February last year.

38-year-old Clark, who previously lived in Coventry, was the driver of a silver Mercedes CLK carrying Lucy and her friend on that fateful evening, when he pulled out of a junction into the path of two racing cars.
