Two charged after warrant executed in Barwell

Two people have been charged after a warrant was executed in Barwell on Friday (19 August).

Lee Biggs, 31, of Bardon Road, Barwell has been charged with failure to comply with a community protection notice, three counts of theft by finding, public order and possession of a class B controlled substance.

Taran Foster, 27, also of Bardon Road, Barwell has been charged with handling stolen goods.

They are both due to appear before Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Friday 2 September.

The charges relate to a warrant that was executed under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act regarding an ongoing investigation into the theft of items.
