Two teenagers arrested after assault in Shepshed

Two teenagers have been arrested after a milkman was assaulted in Shepshed.

The victim disturbed a group of youths in yard in Belton Street just after 2am on Wednesday 3 August.

They then assaulted him leaving him with facial injuries including a bloodied eye and bruising.

Two youths, aged 14, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently on bail pending further enquiries.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident and we’d still like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has any information about what happened.
