At 8.55pm on Tuesday 26 March 2019, police arrested a 39-year-old male, from the Quarmby area of Huddersfield, for the murder of a 42-year-old male which took place on New Hey Road in the early hours of the same day.
The man remains in police custody and the investigation is ongoing.
