Witness appeal following serious RTC in Swindon

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Swindon.

The incident took place at approximately 7.40am this morning (Thursday 22nd January 2015) on Pipers Way, Swindon.

The collision involved a red Vauxhall Corsa and a male pedestrian, close to the entrance to the Marlborough Park estate.

The man – believed to be in his 50s – was taken to Southmead Hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver of the Corsa was uninjured.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or was on Pipers Way at the time of the incident.
