Police investigating the death of a man in Chelmsley Wood have charged a woman with his murder.
Georgina Henshaw aged 35 from Alder Drive has been remanded in custody to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Monday 10 July).
Officers have today also named the man who died as Philip Rolph aged 65 (pictured below)
Mr Rolph, a chef, was a father and a grandfather and lived in the local area.
His family today paid tribute to him and called him, “a family man, who was caring, helpful, kind, loving and generous who loved his life and his work.”
Police were called to Alder Drive in the early hours of Friday 7 July following reports of a stabbing. Mr Rolph was found in a car and taken to hospital, but sadly died a short time later.
